America is the land of immigrants where many have left their birthplace in search of a better life. Immigrants are not a monolith. The different generations of immigrants have different exposure to American politics and views that shape their political behaviors. I conducted in-depth research on how the political participation of first-generation immigrants who become citizens through naturalization, and second and third-generation Americans can determine and shape the United States politics.
